Open Question: fella sold me a few cars around 6 months ago. he is now looking to get divorced will it be a problem.?

i have recently around 6 months ago came into possesion of three classic cars an old impala and a cople late 60 model muscle cars. i gave some cash and traded a few items that i had. well the fella i got the cars from is looking to be getting divorced. is this something that i should be concerned about. the impala is almost as i recieved it but i have put some work into the other 2. the reason i ask is because the selling price was not very high considering i had items that were traded, i have a notorized note of the transaction but have not switched the titles becase theyb are not daily drivers and have been in the shop almost the entire time....
